Newly reopened after renovation. A true 5* resort with matching 5* services. Spacious, spotless rooms, beautifully decorated. Currently, only one restaurant is open, but the food was absolutely top-tier. All the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. There's a small semi-private beach, but lacking water sports. Definitely recommended.

I’d like to start off by saying the staff at Avani+ Barbarons are some of the most friendly and accommodating people I have encountered while traveling. Prior to arriving at the resort, my husband sustained an injury while hiking, which severely limited his mobility. At the last minute, they were able to change our room to a ground floor accessible room and went above and beyond to make sure my husband’s stay was as comfortable as possible. They even made him a get well card signed by all the staff. I don’t know what the resort looked like before, but since the renovation it is gorgeous! Especially in the pool area with various types of lounge seating, including seating in the water. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The view of the beach from the restaurant and pool is lovely. The water can be a little rough, but there is a good swimming spot on the far right side of the beach. The included breakfast was excellent with many options. The dinner prices are about equal to other high end restaurants on the island. I highly recommend Avani+ Barbarons!

Lovely resort. Very clean and discreet. I love how one can admire the mountains and the view without the hotel looming large. But mainly all the staff is so friendly and hugely helpful and accommodating. Food wise, great sushi. Amit prepares exquisite dishes. Steven and Lanah in the concierge service took the time to really guide us and give us options. Really everyone is very nice and go out of their way to help.

The concierge was very pretentious and didn’t interact with us as a real person. We were just staying one night and she still pointed out the laundry bag and the laundry service, which we wouldn’t have time to use. We arrived cold and wet in a rainstorm and we were given cold hand towels and an ice cream bar. This would have been welcome on a hot day but was tone deaf for the weather at our arrival. The food was uninspired both at the dinner and breakfast buffet. Adequate but nothing more. Very expensive stay for little value.

Atmosphere in the a’la carte restaurant is really nice, especially on the outside balcony. The food was good. Cannon had served us in the best way. About themed buffet, they still need to work about it. New hotel but they are trying to do their job the best they can. If food would be better they will get 5

My partner and I had a truly wonderful stay at Avani+. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality.
